Freedom In Christ Brings Freedom from Fear

A Christian’s fear, like everyone else’s, is associated with anxiety and stress in everyday life.

However, emotions that appear to be natural reactions to everyday events are often deeply rooted in our souls by reading this we hope that you can finally earn your freedom.

As a way of understanding the roots, try asking yourself when you are feeling anxious, “What am I really afraid of?” Then match the truth of God’s Word with your deepest fears and expect to see those fears released.

As Jesus said, “Do not be afraid, just believe” (Mk 5:36). It’s rarely that simple! However, true freedom in Christ comes to us through learning how to trust God and His Word above all else.

Believing is meant to be an active force in the new life offered through Jesus Christ.

But we don’t try to force our faith to grow – we learn to look to Jesus and by what we see in Him our faith is kindled! Therefore, the critical problem in overcoming fear and overcoming anxiety is learning how to believe God’s Word with a faithful heart – remember that Jesus is God’s Written and Living Word. “… But it is written so that you will believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and believe that you can have life in His name” (John 20:31).

The life that the Apostle John refers to is more than just being here and not limited to heaven.

This life is known as life in abundance and is a quality of life that experiences joy, peace and love every day.

Freedom In Christ Brings Freedom from Fear

Freedom in Christ provides freedom from fear by overcoming anxiety. Christian fear is a deadly emotion that contradicts and battles the healing and health available through Jesus Christ.

Fear and anxiety are deadly emotions. These emotions are scientifically proven to cause chemical changes in the body, changes that negatively impact organs, muscles and cells.

But God has given us many antidotes. For example, there is the joy that comes through Jesus Christ that will even bring laughter into your life – and laughter works like a “medicine” (Prov. 17:22).

The peace of God literally transcends all understanding and overcomes the anxiety and stress associated with illness – but there are definite ways we need to learn to cooperate with this new life.

Being united by active faith with God’s truth will automatically produce joy in you.

The abundant life offers freedom in Christ, freedom from sinful emotional states such as despair, anger and fear.

The joy experienced through the Holy Spirit relates to unbelief which creates fear and anxiety for Christians.

Natural circumstances, feelings, and understandings may cry out to you that God’s Word cannot be true or that His love, presence, and power cannot be real.

Disbelief is a stronghold of the enemy that has deep roots hidden in the heart. Unless it is recognized and released, it can cause fear, anxiety and stress to Christians.

Learn to grow your trust in God into trust in God to experience Christ’s freedom. Health and healing, freedom from fear and overcoming anxiety are by-products of all our attention to Him! You can experience the freedom associated with this abundant life by choosing to believe God’s Word above all conflicting circumstances and emotions.

There is no need to be held captive by Christian fear, anxiety, and stress. You can experience freedom from these negative emotions as well as freedom from any illness they may cause. Freedom in Christ brings freedom from fear and disease.
